Laurel Burrup will graduate from Richland High School where she has participated in soccer, basketball, cross country and track & field. Following a knee injury from soccer during her sophomore season, Laurel converted to cross country and was instrumental in leading her team to compete at state that year.
Off the field, Laurel has been an active member on the Math Team, Key Club, Spanish Club, and Natural Helpers.
Outside of school activities, Laurel is an active member of our community participating with Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Salvation Army, ARC of the Tri-Cities, as well as being a hospital and Hospice House volunteer for the past 4 years. She is active in her church and has held several leadership positions there, including being a leader and specialist at Youth Girls Camp.
Throughout high school Laurel has taken many honors and college level courses – with the goal of passing the advanced placement exams for university credit . She will graduate in the top of her class with a GPA of 3.8
