Lucas Graff is our first recipient to graduate from Chiawana High School in Pasco. Luc participated in football, basketball and baseball all 4 years of high school, first at Pasco High then Chiawana, earning 9 varsity letters. He was captain in all three sports during his freshman, junior and senior years.
Luc helped lead the Chiawana football team deep into the state playoffs for the first time and was honored by the Washington Sports Network with the Thornton award for all around leadership, academics and athletic performance.
Off the field, Luc has participated in a number of activities including being a leader for Link Crew. He’s lent his time and energy to help at many activities at Mark Twain Elementary including set up, tear down and working at carnivals and Frontier Days, as well as reading to youngsters during Literacy Night.
For the past 5 years he has helped maintain the fields at the Pasco Youth Baseball Complex, where he also volunteered on maintenance crew for three Memorial Day Tournaments. This year, he also coached in the Pasco Youth Football program.
Luc has taken Running Start classes at CBC and has maintained academic excellence by earning a 3.8 GPA.
