Max Mayer graduated from Kennewick High where he competed in football, basketball and baseball. As a sophomore he was honored with the Mr. Lion award in baseball and as a senior, named Captain of the football team as well as Offensive Player of the Year. He received All-Conference honors multiple times and was also named to the MCC All Conference Team
Off the field, Max has a heart for serving others. Despite a busy school schedule, he made time to teach Sunday School and also serve as a Soup Kitchen volunteer for multiple years. In addition, he was an active member and leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes for the past 4 years.
In the classroom, Max was known for his maturity and determination to produce high quality work. He challenged himself by taking Honors and International Baccalaureate courses throughout all four years at KHS. He served as a Kennewick School District Student Superintendent for two years and was well regarded among both students and staff.
Max is a self-motivated, independent thinker who is known for always showing up with the attitude to come and get better every day.
